Whitecross 1987

I really like this album. I think it was well done and the sound is fantastic. One of the best Christian Albums released in the last few years in my opinion and Definitely Whitecross's best. I am really glad they went back and rerecorded these songs and gave us this album. This was the last album I bought from Mardels before they quit having alot of metal.

Any other fans of this record?

I don't really like rerecords as the original is always sufficient for me, that is apart from two times (that I can think of). First is Warrior Of The Son by Saint, the way they did the rerecord really brought something extra out on the record, and secondly it's 1987. I loved the original but 1987 was just as good, and still quite different. Would have loved to have heard them continue after that.

I like all stuff that Whitecross released.

I personally love the re-record more than the original. The mix is so much better and they fixed the sound of the drums to sound more natural.

I think it is probably my favorite Whitecross album. I do have to confess that I never owned the original. Didn't start listening to Christian metal until 2005, by then the orig cd was a much sought after collector's item and I wasn't willing to pay the outrages prices it commanded.
