I've already started Christmas shopping for 2014! My wife and I like filling shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child (part of Franklin Graham's Samaritan's Purse organization). We found some great gift packs at Lifeway that were $20 before Christmas. The stuff inside them were not worth that much. However, they had them marked down to $5. I couldn't get all the items that were in the boxes for that even at Dollar Tree (where everything is $1). I also bought some cool Star Wars stuff for $1 each at Target. At this rate, my first two shoe boxes will be full by the end of January. I might do even more boxes this year!

Actually, that would be more like 48! I started with buying stuff for 2 boxes for boys and my wife started by buying stuff for two girls. That's 4 boxes almost completely filled already.
