CD exchange program

Would anyone be interested in an exchange program?

Let's face it - we all have cd's we don't want that we think won't sell so we don't even try. What if we listed them and if you see something you want, you offer a trade with that person? I have over a dozen that I'd gladly trade.

I have some CDs I never listen too.
This might be a very good idea.

My deal is as follows: Take any 2 of my CDs for 1 of yours...

I withdraw from the idea to trade Cds with each other.
It's expensive to ship packages oversea.
I don't won't you have to pay much $$$ to ship CDs to me.

If you ship them without jewelcase it's not that expensive. Btw maybe we can trade some, since we both live in The Netherlands.

It's really sad that we can't trade to other countries more often.  I remember sending some tapes to Canada and even asking the cheapest price for postage, it was outrageous ! I'm sending a cd to you Vonnie, but I don't think we'll be able to do that anymore cuz the post office wants WAY too much $$$ - sucks.

I have the idea that shipping CDs to the US is more expensive.
And it takes very long to recieve cool packages with CDs.
When I started to sent CDs to the US, 13 years ago it took a day or 5 till the package arrived.
Now it takes longer.

That's why having a Dropbox makes me very happy.

1 CD sent to the Netherlands from the US at the lowest cost possible costs 13 bucks. More than the CD is even worth ! I guess we should be thankful we have the means to send packages around the world, but it is awfully expensive.

Is that with or without jewelcase. 'Cause that makes quite difference here in the netherlands.

I left it in the case thinking it wouldn't make much of a difference - I'm happy to send the album to Vonnie esp since it's the season of giving, but there's no way I can do any further trading over seas... it's just not worth it money wise.
