CHM picture thread!

Nick I can handle it.

Here are some pictures of when RockerVu2 and I met (for the first time in person) in Blaine (a small city on the boarder of Canada and the U.S. in Washington state). Also in the picture are my two sons. I must say that her and her husband both spoke excellent English (which is good because I only know like 4 or 5 words in Dutch)

Aiiit, I need everyone who claims CHM as their home to help me on this.

Since it would be pretty much humanly impossible to do, I'm going to use the magic of PaintShop Pro to create a CHM Get Together.

What I need yous to do is take a full photo of yourself (head to toe) - It needs to be:

1. Clear (good quality - not tiny, but at least 1000 pixels high) [not blurry like Sue's pictures - JK !! ]

2. Posed as if you're in a big group of people (Options= crossed arms, hands on sides, one arm up and "around" a pretend person, NO gang symbols, but peace sign or I love you sign is ok, kneeling is ok or one knee on ground ok) -any other ideas you have is cool, ie holding your cat, guitar, etc. Making a face or sticking your tongue out is cool.

3. Please E-mail them to christbday@yahoo.com with your first name. Leave the picture in it's original size, don't resize it (the bigger the better).

4. Deadline (only because I don't want anyone dragging their feet or being left out) - SEPTEMBER 23rd (First day of Autumn.... also Sukkot for our Jewish friends ).


Please participate as I've been wanting to do something like this for a long time now.

When I'm finished, I will unveil a picture that will appear as if all of us got together and posed for a CHM PHOTO ! ! !

Sounds like a great idea. Might be a little tough for me as my daughter broke our camera, but I will try to find some existing photos.

Chris, I think you should pose holding a "sign" - even if you're pretending to hold a sign... then what I want to do is graft in a sign that says something like "Christian Hard Music Family Get Together" (since you da main man, I think you should be holding the sign) -or if you want, you and Vonnie could be "holding" the sign... ie you pose as if on one side holding your left hand up about shoulder level and Vonnie holds her right hand up shoulder level as if holding a sign.
Whatever you wanna do is cool, I don't want to make it too complicated.

Absolutely ! Just as long as it's a complete picture (in other words- make sure nothing's cut off, like the end of the guitar or your elbow or anything). I've done photo restorations and had to create missing parts and it's a LOT of hours of work to make it look real enough.

PS - So far, only Fundy and myself are at the CHM Family Get Together..... don't wait till the last minute !
