Saint - Too Late For Living

I have always liked this album, but I have always loved Time’s End more. However, recently I’ve been listening to this record again, and I have really underappreciated it! This thing is genius! The title track and Star Pilot are classics and I’ve always appreciated their greatness. However I’m discovering that there are some other great songs on here. I’m loving The Accuzer, The Rock, Returning, and The War Is Over. 

It’s kinda fun rediscovering a classic!

I came to Saint late (when they released In the Battle).  So when I went back and collected their first four albums I found that I liked Times End and Too Late For Living almost equally (kind of like they were a continuation of the same album).  I mean the band did mature musically (at least a little) between the two albums.  But they were both chock full of great songs.  The title track for TLFL is simply amazing, and I'm also a huge fan of Accuser and The War is Over.  The only song I don't really care for on the album is The Path (and it's not like I hate it, I won't skip it when playing the album).

Too Late For Living is pretty good I need to give it a listen. Always prefered Times End and like it the best of anything they have done.

They have a new one "The Calf" coming out soon. They have another new singer. Curious to see how they do. The guy sounded OK but I dunno if he has the power vocals I am hoping for.

I definitely like TLFL but I tend to play Time's End more often.  That album, along with Levictus' I Shall Conquer, were my first real foray into Christian metal.

Time's End is the better of the 2 though I like Too Late also.

I listened to a few of those sound samples and was less than impressed.  Seriously hoping that is just due to production, and that Saint can pull a better performance out of him.

It's hard to tell because I think the singer is fitting his vocals to the music which is quite a bit softer than Saint.  He might very well be able to boost the oomph up a few notches no problem.  Time will tell!

I've always preferred TLFL to Time's End...guess that puts me in the minority.

I think if you took the poll from a larger group of Saint fans you would probably see TLFL win out over TE.

It's my favourite of theirs!

Too Late for Living is a little more polished, but both are top shelf!
