True, there seem to be fewer and fewer of us every year.  And sadly our numbers aren't replenishing.

I don't really know what to do to boost numbers.  I guess we could buy some add space, but with more people you also get more problems.

I got the rest of my potential song lyrics typed and printed out.  I actually had NINETEEN sets of lyrics to work with.  Now, that doesn't mean that everything I wrote will work out or be a great tune.  But, it does give me more than enough songs to pick and choose from.  I can also take the ones that don't work now, rework the idea, and maybe pitch them again at a later date.  I just kept writing not thinking I had enough for an album.  I guess I was wrong!

Since we haven't heard from MikeInFL, I sent him a text message today.  I haven't heard back from him yet.

Hope he responds and everything is okay.

Mike responded!  All is fine and dandy with him.  He has been super swamped at work and just took time off from forums.  His wife is working remotely with the school she works for.

A man has to have his priorities.  I can't believe he would choose his wife and kids over us!

Yep, let him know that we miss him but our aim is getting better 

It is really hard to work from home to create activities for my classroom from home when your crappy internet service is down for 3 solid hours for no reason.

We got our first snow today:

We've even got snow in the forecast which is kind of early for around here.

Are we sure Xid just didn't take a trip to Costa Rica and that is the lawn of the drug lord that lives next to the resort?  



I used to love snow when I was a kid.  It isn't as much fun as it used to be, though.  We get very little here anymore.  Man, I love global warming.

We'd get some snow a few days in the year while up in SE Pennsylvania but it's a rarity here in North Texas.

I like the quiet that snow brings.  A freshly fallen snow is very tranquil.  It's making me really look forward to the holidays.

Because we get so little snow, people here don't know how to drive on it.  It never gets deep enough or lasts long enough, for the most part, to ever put on snow tires or tire chains.  Most counties/cities don't have the resources to make the roads drive-able.  Even if they do salt them, the roads will turn slushy and then the temperature at night drops giving you black ice the next day.  Northerners can make fun of us shutting down schools if they like, but the drivers of buses can't handle those conditions, either.  So, wrecks are inevitable and the schools close to prevent big lawsuits.

Did I mention that I love global warming?
