While it's not my favorite album by the Newsboys, it's pretty cool for it to finally get the vinyl treatment. Anyone else like Newsboys? Been a fan since I heard SIMPLE MAN on the radio back in the early 90s.

Love the John James stuff. Like the Peter Furler stuff. Don’t care about the Tait stuff.

I like almost everything by The Newsboys until after Tait came in. I even loved the first two albums they released with Tate. After that, the music sounds like it could be made with a cheap Casio keyboard. The drums are programmed despite having a drummer in concert. The guitars are mixed so far back on the new albums that they really don't need the guy anymore except in concert. It's just generic keyboard pop and it doesn't suit them at all.
I wish Furler would come back into the band and straighten them out or at least start a new group and do things the old way. The Newsboys knew how to rock and how to pop and make it fun. The new stuff has lost that.
