This month, there is a movie company shooting a film about the early years of Billy Graham's ministry in our area. They have done several on location shoots at Watertown churches, today they were on the town square, at the fairground in Lebanon, TN. I signed up to be an extra, but it really looked like I wasn't going to get called even to be an extra.

However, the casting director called Tuesday night and wanted me to come to Nashville for the shoot Friday morning!

OK, I know it's just an extra, but it will be cool to say that I was in a movie!

Whoa, that will be cool.
Just as long as they don't want you to play the role of "non speaking dimwit number 3".

Now that you are officially a movie star can I get your autograph?

I'm TOTALLY a movie star!

You might see me in the background of a movie theater scene. I'm towards the back of the theater in one shot. Then, they switched the cameras around to film a different angle and catch what was showing on the screen. They moved me to the row of seats in front of the actors doing their lines. So, you'll probably see a nice view of the back of my head.

Oh well, it was fun. I got to take part in a movie, wear a ton of makeup without anyone assuming you're a homo, play dress up, eat expensive (but bland) catered food, and get $50 to boot! So, now I am a paid professional!

I did not recognize any of the actors/actresses involved with the movie. Armie Hammer is the guy playing Billy Graham. Even though she was not needed for this scene, Lindsey Wagner is in the film. Robbie Benson was the director and was very nice to everyone.

All in all, it was fun!

Sounds like fun, I sure hope they don't cut your scene.
