That was in my CD player yesterday.

Cool band Guilty/Forgiven.

Listened a lot to the favorite music of my parents.
I won't tell what their favorite music was.
If I do you can't stop laughing.
It helps me to deal with the grief, the worries I have right now.

That is great (and I don't think anyone would laugh). My mother loves old country music (Dolly Parton, Loretta Lynn, Willie Nelson), and my dad loves a lot of the old motown stuff and Simon and Garfunkel. People listen to all kinds of different music.

My mom listened to everything from Kenny Rogers and The Oak Ridge Boys, to Billy Joel, Elvis, and lots of 50s "oldies".

My dad was never into music. He listened to the radio a lot and only had a handful of cassettes (I can only remember ABBA, Wings, and of all things: Willie Nelson- ugh)

I dig a lot of songs my parents liked (except Willie )

I actually liked a lot of Willie's old albums. When I was in grade school my mother would let me pick one of her albums to play on occasion and I always seemed to pick from the same 3; Neil Diamond (not sure the album), Glenn Campbell "Rhinestone Cowboy", or Willie Nelson's "Red Headed Stranger". To this day if I hear a song from one of those albums it reminds me of my mom.

Mom and dad loved to listen to the piano and violin concerts of Beethoven.
This is the music I grew up with.

That is some good music. If I had to pick two favorite classical composers it would probably be Mozart & Beethoven. Wasn't Beethoven from the Netherlands?
