I thought I heard that it was something they did to wake up the guys when they were in the studio for LTD. Someone would play random stuff on the keys while Dale wailed. And that would wake anyone up in a sweat.

Hmm ... well some inside jokes should stay inside.

Two things:

1.  First time listening to Deliverance What a Joke and the song "Chipped Beef" came on.  I thought "is this really a recipe for a chipped beef sandwich?"

2.  When I bought Recon's album, jumped in the car, ripped open the cassette, popped it in, cranked it up...and discovered that the manufacturer had mislabeled a copy of Larry Norman's So Long Ago in the Garden.  Wonderful album, just not Recon.  Oh well, at least it wasn't Sandi Patti. 

2. That would be pretty scary. As for 1., I need to try it sometime.
