I read something about them over at FS but never checked them out. This sounds really good.

I guess the next question....where do I buy it....thinking Christmas-to-myself here .

Good question. I could not find it at CD Baby and the band only has a MySpace profile (no official website).

I just got a response from Within The Fire concerning how to order their new CD (please note that I also asked the band how they would describe their sound):

"hey bro! thanks for your interest...our music is right on the line between hard rock and metal. we have some straight up metal songs, but also some songs that could be on hard rock radio. to get the cd just give me an address to send it to, and send $10 check or money order (payable to Jonathan Barnes) to Within the Fire, p.o. box 1163, Scottsboro, AL, 35768....i'll get your album in the mail as soon as i receive the payment...thanks again and God bless..."

More than likely I'll have a check in the mail when I get paid next week (having to pay $35 for the Sacrecy CD almost bankrupted me! LOL!)

Sounds very good. I would also describe them the same way from their 4 songs on MS. $10 sounds like a good deal also, to me. I have had several opportunities to buy new artists cd for $10....waited, then it is much higher as they get more acclaim.

I really like the sound of Within the Fire. I'll definitely have to snag one of these--as soon as I finish my Christmas shopping.

Within The Fire has a very cool sound.
I like the mix between hard rock and metal.
Sounds like it's not possible for people outside the US to order this CD.

I ordered this about a week ago. I am just waiting for the disc to arrive. I've added Within The Fire to my MySpace friends' list.

Right now, they are in serious need of a lead guitarist.

Production is clearly lacking on this release.

I think it's great! Definitely worth the $10!

I have to wait sosme weeks before I can order music again.
Ordered to much cool stuff in January.
So a warning when you see in April I finally ordered this CD.

You're right, it wasn't production that bothered me about this. It's not awesome, but it's good for an indie release. I'm not sure what to call it, but this could have been a great release and it is barely avg for me. The vox are part of it. The pieces are there for the most part. To each his own I guess. Glad it gets your juices flowing.

We did a live interview with guys on CRF room a few months back just before the put out the album.Good band . You can hear them on Metal Pulse radio
