PostSubject: The Five Clues Game   Wed Feb 15, 2017 10:38 pm

Five Clues are given about a TV show, movie, band, artist, or whatever you choose, and someone guesses the answer. That someone then gives 5 clues of their own for the next contestant.

I'll start with an easy one:

7 Seasons
Susan Harris
3 widows 1 divorcee
9/14/85
Sicily

Ding, ding, ding!  We have a winner!  With the 5 shows (counting the animated Star Trek), Quantum Leap, and prequels as clues, I just thought someone would nail it.  Of course, I never liked the show and am already predisposed to not like the new Star Trek: Discovery due to being yet another prequel to TOS.  I wish they'd move forward and do something different like they did with The Next Generation.

The last set of clues are still active.  These were carefully worded to make it harder but it really is more simple than you think.  I'd love to be a fly on the wall watching you all try to decipher it.

Here are the clues again:

Quote :
Jailbreak
Electrical current
Bells
Shorts
USDA certified beef

The only thing that comes to mind is the rock band AC/DC....but I'm thinking that isn't right because I can't get the "USDA certified beef" to fit.

Actually, you got it RIGHT!  I didn't want to say "Angus" as that was a dead giveaway.  So, I reworded to "USDA certified beef".  For a while, places were advertising that their burgers and steaks were 100% USDA certified blank Angus (a type of beef cow).  I knew that if I threw that "fly on the wall" line in there that someone would be smart enough to guess it!

OK, Staybrite, give us the next clues!

Agreed!.....but you better tell everyone what it is because nobody else seems to be getting it....maybe they are all escaped replicants and are afraid they will be "retired".

That would be the very strange but entertaining BLADE RUNNER

Are they making a sequel, or just a remake ?

They are making a sequel with Harrison Ford and Ryan Gosling....supposedly titled Blade Runner 2049.
