We had a storm hit here overnight. Half of my plum tree came down so I've got buckets of unripe plums to use up. I've got jam in the making and there's a pie in the oven. Once the jam is done, I'll do some plum sauce for chicken and such. Does anyone have other ideas for using unripe plums?

Nope. I haven't. But then, I only just saw the last one a couple months ago so I probably don't count in the tally.
I haven't seen it either nor have I seen The Force Awakens.

Throwing them at really bad bands when you hear one play live??

That's not good Jen. Wednesday we've had the first serious storm of the year. No damage for us, but a lot other had dmages due big brances of threes, or a chimney of the fire place that came down.

Oh, it was a blessing really. Troublesome yes, but it means that I've enjoyed some lovely baking ahead of the season. I wouldn't normally cook with unripe fruit and now I was forced to. I made the most delicious pie out of it yesterday. It was really gorgeous. Tart, but in a yummy way. And the jam I made is exceptional. Plus, I now have bags and bags to give away to friends who will be able to do the same. So, yes, it was sad to see my poor plum tree hurt, but the outcome was yummy.
I got out there today and cleaned up the tear where the tree split and painted it over so that no bugs get into the wound. I think the tree will be fine...funny looking, but still healthy.
I'd much rather the tree come down than the chimney! That's not good.

When sudoku puzzles are just too easy that it's insulting, you find a page of sudoku with an "Evil" difficulty setting as their hardest. After about a month, when you finally learn how to apply what new tricks you've learned, you go looking for even bigger and harder puzzles. Like "Extreme" sudoku, where "evil" is the lowest difficulty setting, and "extreme" is the highest.
I can now say, after 2 years of trying, giving up, and trying again, I have finally solved my first puzzle on extreme difficulty.
Extreme Sudoku
Warning: these puzzles are extremely hard, and may make your brain explode if you don't know what you're doing.

I never could figure out how to do a suduko puzzle. I needed to solve a couple for final coordinates to a few geocaches a couple of years ago. I found an online solver. LOL

Time to dust off the mullet wig! It is our basketball homecoming week and today is 80s day. I just can't get enough uses out of my mullet wig!

I definitely had a mullet. No polls are needed to answer this mystery.

This is as long as mine got, back in September. The pigtails were for donation purposes; one single ponytail wouldn't have been long enough. So my haircutter went for pigtails, which was hilarious(ly sad).
